Seaspin

Hi,
i´m very glad that i found this website, because i enjoy fishing in the Mediterranean for over twenty years now but until this summer i never tried fishing with lures.
After watching the video trailers i booked a flight to Sardegna at once and now i try to learn a little bit about seaspinning.
That catches on this page are unbelievable, i would be very happy to catch some much smaller on my trip !

My real Name is Jens, i come alone on 24/1 to 27/1. Crazy maybe ´cause i had a look at your site and booked a flight to Olbia at once
I didn´t find any informations about Januar on this site...only from April.
Are there any close seasons in Jan. ? I practice C&R, so are there any fishing laws to take care of ?
I´ll try to spend all three days spinning on the northern coast, from sunrise to sunset

hello Jan, in SW there arent limitation or licenses, you can fish all year round with a daily maximum catch weight of 5 kgs and taking care of the minimum size for each species, anyway if you pratice C&R you dont have no problems of this kind.
Cuda and seabass are in

Does anyone know about the "Aqua Marina Protetta" near to Olbia (from Capo Ceraso to San Teodoro), i found it signed as a national park on my map....is fishing forbidden over there ?

Yes, is signed as AMP and it's a Marine Park. Yesterday a friend of mine told me that from the beginning of 2007 there is a private guard for the control of this area. In the past there was a sort of tolerance in fishing around, expecially in B and C zone, but I think that from now it will be hard.
Anyway you dont need to go there for fishing, there are a lot of spot before and after, for example in Olbia near the Padrangianus river estuary for bluefish and seabass, or in the zone under S.teodoro, there are different rivers going down in SW.
