Hey dentex!Spinning in Greece is all about the weather and the period,just like in any other country :P im not really much experienced the bigest fish i have caught is only 2.6kg but i think i fish a lot and experience will come in time.I fish in my area for seabass near riverbands that flow in the sea,but i havent caught any fish bigger then 1.8kg and that was with a popper,at minnow i only get small fish,most of them go back into the water.Now i try to fish season fish like bluefish they seem easy t ocatch but they aint so stupid as some ppl think.Recently i got a new lure from italy its called pinochio and its broken in 4 pieces,it says its special for seabass,have u ever tried it and at what speed,conditions and weather it works?Now we didnt have a harsh winter in greece so we didnt even see big seabass,we hope we get some fish now that weather is gettin warmer,fish like palamide and riciola(italian name i dont know english one :P).I have caugh only 1 cuda around 1kg a lucky fish but more experienced ppl have caught bigger like 4 or 5 kg.Me and my friend are planning on a trip at a small island we hope we meet some cudas.Now about jigging i havent really tried got only one jiga nd i have barely used it one or two times but its not so spread in my country its kinda new.Hope i didnt tire u with all the talkin these are the simple things i though to give u a general idea about greece.How do u fish mostly in italy?harbors beaches or river flows?

Hello Giwrgos. Where do you live in Greece?
Maybe in Italy the worst place to practice spinning is the beach. Much better are cliffs, river flows and harbours. But in most harbours fishing is forbidden

Hey LurKer,i live in a small city called Larissa im far from the sea .To reach some good places i have to do at least 1.5 hour of driving,there are places closers but they are fished too many times and have little amount and small fish.I used to go a lot at biches for spin but now i mostly go in harbours and cliffs.
