Hello, I am Louis from The Netherlands. At home I like to go spinfishing for pike, perch and zander in our freshwater. This year I will spent my hollyday at the south coast of Sardinia the first two weeks of september. I would like to bring a few things for spinfishing with me but because I come by airplane my amount of luggage is limited.
Can anyone tell me more about spinfishing in Sardinia in september? Any information is appreciated!
The info I would like to get is:
-What fish can be caught from the beach?
-Do you need a fishingpermit and where can you buy it?
-What lures are best used for spinfishing from the beach?
-What are the best places to fish and what techniques are most effective?
But any other information about fishing at Sardinia is welcome!
Thanks,
Louis
Hello Louis,
in Sardinia you can catch every mediterranean gamefish, seabass form costs with low sea bed (also one meter or less), barracuda and pelagic fishes from high sea cliffs, bluefish especially in the south of the island.
Lures mostly used are long jerk minnows, like duo tide minnows and daiwa shore line shiner, both in 14 and 17 centimeters size.
Concerning best places, probably you can have in PM this information from Sardinian people, in any case every beach with outfall (also very small) and sea cliffs are potentially good spots.
Ciao
